Homecoming Tailgate Tent
This annual gathering at the Clark Atlanta University Homecoming game is both a celebration and a fundraiser to support our initiatives. Our mentees join us at the event, where they are immersed in the spirit and tradition of HBCU culture, gain insight into the importance of higher education, and connect with alumni and leaders in the community. This event strengthens our foundation’s community presence, fosters networking, and reinforces our dedication to educational access and empowerment.
Georgia Teachers Ball
An event dedicated to honoring Georgia’s outstanding educators, the Georgia Teachers Ball celebrates the dedication, passion, and tireless work of teachers who shape young minds and futures. This elegant evening offers educators the recognition they deserve, along with an opportunity for community members and leaders to express gratitude for their impact on our youth. It also serves as a fundraiser to support our educational initiatives and scholarships, furthering our mission to nurture a new generation of leaders.
Leadership Retreat
Our annual Leadership Retreat is an intensive experience where our mentees dive into workshops, mentoring sessions, and team-building activities designed to build their leadership potential. Through sessions focused on personal development, effective communication, and goal-setting, the retreat equips participants with essential tools to become effective leaders and positive role models in their communities. This retreat is central to our mission of shaping responsible, confident young men ready to lead and inspire.
Christmas Toy Drive for Group Homes
The spirit of giving back is at the heart of our foundation, and the Christmas Toy Drive allows us to make a difference for children in group homes during the holiday season. Through this annual drive, our mentors and mentees join together to collect and distribute toys and gifts, bringing joy and hope to children in need. This event fosters compassion, empathy, and a sense of community service among our participants, reinforcing the values we aim to instill.
